Maureen Denise McCormick was born on 5 August 1956 in Woodland Hills California the youngest and only child of Richard and Irene McCormick. Her father taught at school, as did her mother, who was a housewife. Michael Dennis Kevin is her three elder siblings. McCormick started singing and performing in the early years of her life. At the age of six, McCormick older, she was crowned her first prize in the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley pageant. McCormick was in a commercial for Mattels' newest doll Baby Pattaburp. The Brady Bunch In 1969 McCormick was selected out of a crowd of over 1500 children who had auditioned to be the youngest of three daughters towheaded on the new TV sitcom The Brady Bunch starring Florence Henderson as well as Robert Reed as newlyweds with a blended family.
